Swollen lymph nodes in the neck, under the arm, in the groin
Abdominal pain
Bruises at sites of minor injury
Lack of appetite
Feeling tired all the time
Bleeding easily

When to See the Doctor

Leukemia may be found during a routine exam or when there are unusual symptoms. If you have any of the following symptoms see your doctor:
- Feel tired all or most of the time
- Loss of appetite or weight loss
- Frequent infections or flu-like symptoms, such as fever and chills
- Pain and swelling in different parts of your body, especially in your armpit or groin
- Frequent nosebleeds, bruising, or rectal bleeding
If you have been diagnosed with leukemia and you should talk to your doctor anytime your symptoms worsen or you develop new symptoms. See your doctor for:
- New or unusual bleeding, such as a nosebleed you cannot stop, blood in your urine, or maroon or black stools
- Fainting
- Headache, confusion, or seizures
- Fever
- New or worsening pain
