When to See the Doctor

It may be recommended for a woman who is older than 35. For women who are younger, doctors generally advise looking for help after a year. Couples who already have known possible causes of infertility (examples include endometriosis, fibroids, irregular periods, DES mothers, varicoceles and chemotherapy administration) should also seek help early.
